I dropped out from school when I was 17 and was determined to start my own business or get a great high paying job.
I guess I have this desire from my father who always has and still is an entrepreneur and sees opportunities everywhere.
I’m writing this 20 years after I got my first sales job and wooooow I have tried, failed and succeeded in so many businesses and J.O.B:s since that day.
For the first time in my life, I am 100% sure of that I am in the right place and with the right company and with the right people.
My first job when I was 19 was selling books knocking doors; I think that period (i worked there for almost ten years) taught me to look in a direction where I always was doing the selling and trading away my time for money.
It was fantastic years learning so much and travelled the world together with friends. We had sales competitions every year that took us to China, South-Africa, USA, Greece and many other places. Felt like a King for many years and believed that I was going to work in this company for the rest of my life.
My turning point was when the market for books and dictionaries collapsed, something called the Internet came along 🙂
I started searching other opportunities and reading books like Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. I realised that I wasn’t building a business I was trading away my Life and time for money.
And since that day about ten years ago I have tried MLM, created my own sales company and different jobs. What I often found was that if I made the money I often did not have the time freedom and the other way around.
The business my girlfriend Daniela and I are building today as affiliates for The Six Figure Mentors is so different from everything I have done before.
Now I have people with the same goal as I have had for 20 years, time and money freedom. There are mentors and members that have achieved this, and I get access to their knowledge and experience, and that is worth everything.
We don’t need to make all the mistakes on our own, and I think for us it would have been close to impossible to know where to start and what to do on the Internet because there are so many ways to build your business online.
In many of the jobs, I had in the “classic” business there often where a mentality of competing and not always wanting the best for your colleagues.
Becoming a father changed my way of thinking and made me realize that if I did not modify the way I was working I was going to miss out on so much of my daughter’s life.
And today that gives me chills when I think about how close I was to accept that
And “give up” searching for the solution to time and money freedom. To be honest, I was being a very sceptic and doubting myself a lot more now then I did in my younger years.
Today I Know that there are lots of people that want change in their Lifes.
The first step to being able to stop focusing on earning millions of dollars instead now we focus on HOW we earn our income, to be able to choose from where and when we build our business changes everything.
I know You can do it because if we can do it, anyone can! 🙂
